Kent Remedial Therapies (KRT) is a remedial and Holistic Massage practice offering a friendly professional service.
Remedial Therapy is used to treat injuries to the soft tissues (not requiring surgery) - the muscles, tendons and ligaments. These may have been caused as a result from participation in a sport, which is why this is often referred to as sports therapy.
Injuries may also have been as a result of a fall, a car accident, 'pulling' a muscle or a simple knock. These injuries can happen to anyone going about their normal daily business, young or old irrespective of their activity level.
Tension from repeatedly doing an activity which has led to a build up of tension in muscles, driving; sitting at a desk, gardening etc whether this is built up on one side of the body or is bi-lateral or even following surgery where soft tissue damage has occurred massage in the later stages can be applied and so lead towards the path of recovery.
The use of remedial therapy can be used to treat any soft tissue injury. A course of treatment may be required depending on the extent and location of the injury.
